Advanced Sorting
This function provides a powerful tool for organizing data, combining Excel’s standard sorting options with unique features. In addition to traditional full-sheet sorting, this function allows sorting of individual columns without affecting other data in the sheet. It is accessed from the EasySheet Pro ribbon and opens a side panel displaying available operations.

Checks data consistency before applying sorting.
Undo/Redo is not available for this function, as it offers:
The option to modify the original data
The option to create a new sheet with the sorted data
Available Operations
This function supports three sorting modes:
- Sort by Value
Sorts data based on numeric or text values Supports ascending and descending order
- Sort by Date (Dates Only)
Organizes data based on date values Handles different date formats automatically
- Sort by Cell Color
Sorts data based on the background color of the cells
How to Use
- Click “Add Criteria”
- Select the column(s) to sort
- Choose ascending or descending order
- Select the sorting type based on your data:(Value, Date, Color)
- The created sorting rule will appear in the side panel
- Choose your preferred sorting criteria
- To sort the entire sheet, check the “Sort Entire Sheet” option
- Click “EXECUTE”
You will then have two options:
- Modify the original sheet
- Create a new sheet with sorted data
