Text Analysis

Text Analysis allows performing advanced text analysis directly within Excel. It includes Text Analytics, Sentiment Analysis, and Keyword Analysis, providing a detailed summary of textual features and semantic trends.

If the selected data range is invalid, the user will receive an error message.
If there is no data to analyze, the analysis will not be performed.

Regarding Sentiment Analysis, the module uses a database of approximately 4,000 terms to calculate text sentiment. However, due to the complexity of natural language, results may not always be entirely accurate. The function is in continuous development and will be progressively improved to ensure more precise sentiment evaluation.

How to use The user must select the range containing the texts to analyze.
The module will process the selected text and generate a new sheet with the results.
The results will be presented in different sections, with a clear highlight of textual parameters and sentiment metrics.

Text Analytics
After selecting the text, the module calculates the following metrics:

Sentiment Analysis The module uses a sentiment dictionary to assign a score to the selected texts. For each analyzed text, the following information is provided:

At the end of the analysis, an overall average sentiment score is calculated to assess the general orientation of the text.

Keyword Analysis The module identifies the most frequent words in the text while excluding common stopwords. It then generates a list of the 10 most frequent words, along with their occurrence count.
